Top 5 Amazon Travel Items

5 Amazon Travel Items

Want to save some money on useful travel items that will make your travel experience better? Traveling is an art form and over the years I have learned to streamline my processes so that I can travel comfortably, efficiently, and economically. I don’t get any kickbacks on any of the below items, however, I want to share with all of you my top 5 items you can buy on amazon today to greatly improve your travel experience.

5. Power Plug Adapter – 4 USB Ports Wall Charger

I carry two of these converters at all times, the first one is in my suitcase that serves as my main converter for my computer, travel tea pot, and anything else I need to plug in. The second one is in my briefcase. You never know when you might find yourself stranded in an airport from a delayed or canceled flight and need to charge up your phone. This happened to me in Paris and I couldn’t find a universal charger. My phone died and I felt completely stranded considering my flight information was all on my phone. It was a lesson that changed my travel habits to always carry a converter readily accessible.

4. Travel Backpack

When I’m traveling I often go for day hikes, shopping sprees, or some type of adventure that requires me to bring a camera, bottled water, first aid kit, and maybe a sweater or jacket. Those items add up and don’t necessarily fit in my briefcase nor would I want to bring a briefcase out on a day trip. This travel backpack that folds up into the size of a small orange is the way to go. You can stuff it anywhere in your suitcase and open it to have a fully functional go bag for any activity.

3. Chord organizer

There’s nothing more frustrating than reaching in your brief case or purse to pull something out only to get swallowed up by a spider web of tangled charger cables. This not only can get irritating if you are in a hurry looking for something in your bag, but you can also risk damaging those cables. I have used many different types of organizers over the years and regardless of what you pick, the benefit to using them is it helps you keep track of what you have when you are rushing out of the hotel to check out. They also protect your chords from getting lost or damaged. Lost chords and chargers happen a lot in the travel world.

2. Valet Tray for Men and Women

I spent years checking into my hotel room late, jet lagged, and fatigued from travel. The last thing on my mind was keeping track of those loose items in my pocket. Hotel room key, ID Badge, phone, wallet, and loose change are all items that I would chuck onto counters, bedside tables, or wherever else I can find a surface. This habit is not great as you can lose some of these items by simply not keeping track of where you put them. I’ve lost rings, keys, and even tie clips from not staying organized. The valet tray fixed these issues. If I’m in a hurry checking out, I don’t have to spend much time hunting around the room like a detective on the hunt. I know exactly where my things are.

1. Eagle Creek Packing System

The Eagle Creek Packing System is by far the best packing system on the planet. When I get to the hotel, all I have to do to unpack is pull out my packing cubes and envelope and place them on the bed or table top. My clothes stay nicely folded, protected, and well organized. For someone like me who travels professionally and often, staying organized is vital especially when being rushed to pack for a last minute flight. Do yourself a favor, buy this set.
